Large ELV Parts Tags – Cable-Tie Identification Tags for Vehicle Recycling
Spenic Recycling has introduced a larger-format Parts Tag, designed specifically for identifying End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) before dismantling where an adhesive label is not suitable.
Measuring 80mm x 101.64mm, these tags are larger than our standard 101mm x 50.8mm Parts Tags, providing additional space for multiple lines of text, vehicle information and identification details.
Each tag features a centrally positioned punched hole, allowing it to be securely attached to a vehicle using a cable tie. This makes them ideal for use in vehicle recycling yards where vehicles may be stored outdoors, exposed to dirt, moisture and varying weather conditions, and where a conventional adhesive label may not be practical.
The larger format also makes these tags particularly useful for engine and major component identification, providing enough space to record additional vehicle and model information, stock references, registration details or other data required during the recycling process.
The tags are supplied on a 3" core with 1,000 tags per roll and are designed for use with larger-format industrial thermal-transfer printers, including Zebra and TSC printers.
